CITY FOR THE CULTURES OF PEACE

THE DYNAMICS OF CREATIVITY IN THE SERVICE OF PEACE

The City for the Cultures of Peace was founded by an international group of scholars, scientists, and artists as a response to the violence and wars overshadowing the twentieth century and the start of the new millennium. The City for the Cultures of Peace hopes to contribute to conflict resolution by studying the political, social, economic, and cultural dimensions of peace as well as the forces which endanger it: violent nationalism, racism, and fanaticism.
