COEXISTENCE STUDIES AND INTERCULTURAL MEDIATION
comprises lectures, conferences, exhibitions, and long-term research projects on different paradigms of peaceful coexistence, centering on an analysis of the factors which make a harmonious interaction among heterogeneous people possible as well as on case studies from antiquity to modern times. Focus I also includes projects on personalities who through their work build bridges between different cultures.

Lectures, seminars, and exhibitions focusing on the ways in which literature, art, and media analyze multi-ethnic and multi-religious coexistence in different kinds of plural cities from immigration centers to cities in border zones and at the crossroads of different cultures.
